Hey friends, we are back today with another featured treasure in our community of Kenny Lake.
Wengers Country Store is a place we found and shopped at when we first moved to Glennallen, Alaska back in 2017. It has, and will continue to be our favorite and most shopped at store for many years to come.
This little country store was founded by locals, and is still run by locals today. As you turn off the Richardson Highway heading towards Chitina, Alaska, Wengers is located at milepost 10.3 of the Edgerton Highway. Here, you will find groceries, feed, hardware, fishing gear, and even parts for your rig. If you cannot find something on the shelf, just ask for help from Kelly, Jennie, or one of their friendly staff members.
