I think our hearts broke into a million tiny pieces when this day arrived. Daryl had to say his goodbyes before he left back out for the mine.
It’s not that we will never see each other again, but the distance between us will be vast. We have never lived this far from each other, so this will take some getting used to, for sure.
And, the grandbabies… sigh.
We both wish them well however, and hope they enjoy their new adventures!
