While you may think this video is all over the place, in a way you would be right, but this is the reality of our lives at the moment lol. Two trips to Wasilla in a 4 day time period was not part of the game plan last week. Neither was a schedule change, but the new schedule is going to work out for us so much better, so that is a good thing.
We ended up exchanging the new washer and broken new dryer for an all in one unit to bypass the propane all together due to the propane conversion kit being on backorder until mid to late October. Even if we had gotten another regular set, it would be more time spent having to take the dryer apart to convert it. Time is a precious thing around here at the moment.
I have no issues hanging clothes up to dry, for anyone wondering, however, when I have a man coming home with heavy work clothes to be cleaned, I want to send him back out with clean, dry clothes. The cost to go to the laundromat, gas to get there, time spent there in the short time he’s home, and the cost to wash and dry is not cost or time effective at all for us.
With that being said, I am grateful to have gotten the new machine. I’ll show it later as I am still figuring it out. It’s a bit too fancy, so I have to learn it haha.
From Alaska to your screen, with much love and appreciation.
